2018 Fall School-Wide Garden Tasting
Twice a year the Garden hosts an event many students look forward to. GARDEN TASTING DAY! All grades get to come out into the Outdoor Classroom/Garden and enjoy some food that is made from ingredients grown in our garden. The hope is our students gain a better understanding of where their food comes from and some different ways they can eat their veggies.
Back by popular demand was what the kids have named Westside SALSA. Last spring we planted tomatoes, onions, cilantro and peppers in preparation for our salsa day.
